Each Artist displaying and selling items in a booth space during the California Welcome Center Yucca Valley Art Festival must agree to the following:

  • Booth Spaces. California Welcome Center Yucca Valley will provide 10’x10’ booth spaces in the parking lot of the California Welcome Center Yucca Valley. The booth space does not include equipment or electricity. Artists must provide their own pop-up tent or booth structure, display racks, tables, equipment, artwork, or other items and must handle set up and operation of their booths. The parking lot does have some shade, as well as moderate protection from the wind. Artists should be prepared for a variety of weather temperatures. All canopies must be weighted 25lb to 50lb in each corner and subject to being checked by fire code.
Booths are to remain open on both days: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. Artists are responsible for their own booth staffing. (Event volunteers may be available for brief restroom breaks.)
  • Sales Tax.Artists are responsible for handling their own sales, including applicable sales tax. Booth Artists should have a current California State Board of Equalization seller’s permit. For a temporary 30-day permit, visit: www.boe.ca.gov. If you obtain one, just keep it in your booth; we do not collect them.
