PROFILE
Born: August 22, 1946, in San Bernardino, California
Her father was an actor, and her mother was a secretary. She spent most of her formative years in the canyon area above Beverly Hills. She was active in Girl Scouts and Rainbow Girls.
She graduated with honors from University High School in West Los Angeles in 1964 and attended UCLA in the Theater Arts Department until 1967 at which time a severe auto accident curtailed her education.
She had the opportunity to travel in Europe, Mexico, and Africa.
Before coming to the desert, she so-owned Creative Audio Marketing where they created scripts for the on-hold feature of the telephone. Later she became the Whale Watch Coordinator for Cabrillo Marine Aquarium.
After moving to Yucca Valley, she had the pleasure of working at New Age Concepts, and with the Joshua Tree National Park Association as their buyer and inventory specialist. She also worked with the Yucca Valley Chamber in the front office, taking care of members and billing.
Post COVID, it’s been her pleasure to volunteer with the California Welcome Center as well as being the secretary for the Board of Directors.
